Closely linked to the formal standards of construction and architecture, people are always at the center of her work. The themes related to the city, art architecture and the human body are the common thread in her work.

She wants to express the changes of the contemporary world, how she filters them and at the same time expresses herself through a very personal aesthetic. Her bodies have turned into structures, her faces are openings, windows that let the light through. The exterior becomes interior. She creates a new architecture from this assemblage of different objects or elements that together form the alphabet of a new language.

About Béatrice Bizot

Born in Milan, Italy, in 1966, Béatrice Bizot is a French cosmopolitan artist who has traveled the world. She has lived in Italy, France, Australia, the United States and Spain, where she has resided since 2004. She has been involved in sculpture since childhood, studying it in workshops in Paris, then at the Brera Fine Arts University in Milan and the Delta college in Michigan.

She has exhibited in the United States, Poland, the Czech Republic, France and Spain and at international art fairs around the world. Her works are in private and public collections, such as the Midland Center for the Arts or the Museum of Modern Art in Tarragona. There are also three sculptures in the port of Tarragona, as well as public installations in Tarragona's ancient roman circus.
