When the art gallery Down to Art opened its doors in Jan Hoet's Flanders more than 25 years ago, many colleagues reacted in disbelief to the young gallery, which took the purely figurative, rather romantic and completely emotional.

Two decades later, the art gallery in Ghent has become one of the most visited in East Flanders and CEO's Marc De Corte and Charlotte Vander Haeghen have recently opened a second and third gallery in the lively city of Nieuport.

And since April 2024, the 4th gallery has opened, on the seafront in Knokke.
